Training in your Martial Art is not only a repetitive exercise, but is progression in the discipline you follow, with a purpose.
Keiko @ Reishinkan aim to guide those who seek personal progression in the way of sword.

At Reishinkan, we believe every Kendoka has the right to feel safe and focus on their Kendo. We aim to support Kendoka of all levels who have the passion in pursuing their journey of Kendo.

Grading Keiko
In Kendo, your experience and understanding of the way of sword, is represented by the grade (Kyu/Dan). There are opportunities for you to challenge these grades and are granted by the association.
Closer to such grading exams, we may focus on rehearsing the content of the practical exam. This may include the use of bokuto (or bokken) in performing the Bokuto ni yoru Kendo Kihon Waza Keikoho, and the Nihon Kendo Kata.
Special Keiko
There are various reason we conduct special Keiko. There are a number of championship competitions throughout the year. There are occasions that mates from other dojo may come to join our Keiko. Otherwise, we may go to other dojo, or there are events we are invited.
